Section 540
Continued compliance with the contract

(1) If the cash compensation for the actual loss or damage reached to the aggrieved party due to the breach of contract is not reasonable and sufficient, the aggrieved party may claim the continued performance of the contract instead of compensation.
(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), in any of the following cases no claim shall be made for the continued performance of the contract:-
(a) If cash damages are sufficient for breach of contract,
(b) If the court is not able to supervise whether the work is done according to the contract,
(c) if contracted to provide services of personal skill, skill or knowledge,
(d) If it is not possible to fulfill the contract as it is,
(e) The party who violated the contract claims that the contract will be fulfilled as it is.
